Wesley is a process led fashion designer, who's own practice is informed by theories of identity; where fashion artefacts, garments and other outcomes manifest via conceptual and experimental processes. Drawing on 20 years experience in the fashion industry Wesley strives to balance professional experience and insight while nurturing an environment for new creative voices to thrive.
Wesley has led the Creative, Brand and Design Direction of range fashion labels from ready to wear labels to direct to consumer fashion brands, that have been globally successful. Wesley has shown collections at LFW, New York, Copenhagen and Australia, and has dressed a multitude of celebrities.
Creating a diverse and inclusive environment where individual student-designers can explore their own perspectives and creative identities in the context of a dynamic and changing industry where Fashion outcomes may take many interdisciplinary forms is at the heart of Wesley’s practice.
