About our scholarships

We are the most ambitious and the most improved university in the UK for sport, our High Performance Support is paving the way in creating our world class athletic super stars. Our sports scholars include Olympians and senior internationals who represent the University of East London at national and international university competitions.

Awards Summary

Bursary up to £6000 per annum (bursaries may be higher for exceptional applicants)
Unlimited physiotherapy and sports massage
UKSCA-accredited strength and conditioning training and private access to scholar Strength and Conditioning Facility Aqua East.
Active Recovery and Yoga Sessions
Gold membership at SportsDock
Lifestyle and Performance workshops
Access to sports science support, including nutrition, psychology, physiology, biomechanics and performance analysis
Elite athlete academic study policy
Priority access to on-campus accommodation and the option to stay with other athletes on the programme
