Passwords

If you are about to enrol to become a student we will first ask you to change your password. You will have received an email from us to your personal email account. This contains your username and password so you can log in for the first time. Your first step is to change this password to be one of your choice, that is private to you.

Your password needs to be:

• A minimum of 8 characters
• A mix of upper and lower case (a-z)
• At least one number (0-9) OR one special character (such as %)
• Avoid simple passwords such as your name, or UEL, or University of East London, as these won't be accepted

Once you have changed your password, we encourage you to set up further security measures. However, you can choose to do this later. There is a  guide to help you to do this with step by step instructions.

Another email will be sent to you shortly about how to keep your account secure. 

Once you have successfully changed your password you can carry on to complete the enrolment process. See our enrolment page for details on how to complete enrolment.
