    Leading, Managing and Developing Global Knowledge and Talent Management

    The module aims to provide you with major contemporary research evidence on employment and effective approaches to human resource (HR), learning and development (L&D) practice and performance and reward management. In addition, the module introduces you to major debates about theory and practice in resourcing, managing, developing and rewarding people, the aim being to help learners become effective managers as well as effective HR specialists.

    This 30-credit module will provide for you to critically evaluate the relevance of skill development to the work and environment of an HR professional and the relevance of global HRM and Leadership in a global business context.

    Comparative Employee Relations and Law

    The cornerstone of all human resource (HR) management activity is the employment relationship – as a legal, social, economic and psychological exchange. This module will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of comparative employment relations perspectives and debates, both national and international, from a legal perspective.

    Mental Wealth and Applied Research

    This module provides the opportunity for you to demonstrate the ability to diagnose and investigate a live, complex business issue from a variety of perspectives, to locate the work within the body of contemporary knowledge, to collect and analyse data, to derive supportable conclusions and to make practical and actionable recommendations for change, improvement or enhancement of current practice.

    Applied Business Project

    The aim of this module is to enable you to conduct a live applied business project. This could include a work-based project, report on internship or placement (paid or unpaid), business simulation, Bloomberg project, project management report, or case study.
