Open for everyone

We offer affordable memberships to the local community, our corporate partners, students and staff at the University of East London. Our Centre is open to everyone, so no matter who you are, you can benefit from the expertise and experience of our Graduate Fitness Instructors and our excellent services.

Public membership

Here is a breakdown of the new membership plans.

12 monthly Contract Membership - £33 per month:

12 month contract with monthly direct debit payments.
Option to freeze for one month is available for one period during the contract.
After the contract has finished you will remain paying £33 on a rolling membership.

Month by month rolling membership - £40 per month:

No contract membership which gives you the freedom to leave whenever you want (Ten days notice must be given as per our T&Cs).
Membership paid with monthly direct debit.
Option to freeze for one month is available for one period during the contract.

Discounted rate of £30 per month available for corporates, alumni and students. Proof of ID must be shown before first visit. This discount is not available on the monthly rolling membership.

Student Membership - free!

UEL students are entitled to a free off-peak membership. This means you have free access:

6am-4pm Monday - Friday
9am-8pm Saturday - Sunday.

You can upgrade to full access for £100.

Access will be through your student card which you need to bring every time and will need to be synced by reception on your first visit.

UEL Sports Club Membership: £70

Are there any parking restrictions?

Our public members are given car park access and a permit which needs to be displayed at all times. Unfortunately, there is no parking for staff or students.

Do you have exercise classes?

We have over 100 classes across our live and virtual system, all are included in your membership. See our exercise classes.

What courts can I hire?

We have two large arenas with volleyball, basketball, futsal and badminton available. We also have a 7-a-side outdoor football pitch.

What is a BUCS Gold Card?

UEL students who are members of SportsDock can ask for a BUCS gold card, this will give them access to any participating university gyms in the country. A list can be found on the BUCS website..
