Harinder Dhesi

Harinder is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). Prior to UEL, Harinder worked in various Universities including  University of East Anglia, Coventry University and London Metropolitan University. He has held various roles including Course Leaderships in Post Graduate Diploma in HRM leading to CIPD Graduateship, BA HRM and the Certificate & Diploma in Management Studies Programmes. Harinder also took responsibility for the CMS programme to develop female managers. He acted as the lead for Diversity at the School of Business & Law at Londonmet University. Harinder has acted as External Examiner & Moderator for Aberystwyth University, University of Wales, Chartered Institute of Marketing and the CIPD, where he also served on the Special Considerations Panel.

His main areas for teaching have been in the HR/OB areas including Work Psychology & HRM; Resourcing & Talent Management; Contemporary Issues in HRM, Employee Engagement etc., at both UG & PG levels  He has also taught on a range of UG Business Mgt Modules including Business Environment & Management & Leadership etc.

Harinder, is a trained Senior Assessor with the National Police Service getting involved with various national selection, developmental and promotion activities at all levels within Policing, having worked throughout the country. This is an area where he is keen to develop his research profile.
