Mexico City, 1970. As a graduate of the International Center of Photography in New York and a former printer at Magnum Photos, Adam Wiseman's career has been marked by his relationship to photojournalism. His subjects are clearly interposed with an understanding of image as something between document and intersubjectivity.  

Wiseman has lived in Mexico City, NY, Scotland, Brazil and London.  He has a BA from New York University in Ethnographic Film (1992) and completed the Documentary Program at the International Center of Photography in NY (1996). He is a two-time recipient of Mexico's Endowment Of the Arts SNCA/FONCA fellowship 2012-2015 and 2018-2021.
